About PLT Deutsch Germany

Founded in 1995 by a core group of scientists and welding engineers, previously of the Paton Welding Institute of Kiev, Ukraine, PLT has developed to-date two main hybrid innovative systems, both patented and trade-marked worldwide:

Super-MIG®, based on the combination of a MIG/MAG welding process and a plasma-arc in one processing head.
Weldone™, based on the combination of a laser beam and a powerful plasma-arc in one processing head.

PLT’s products offer industrial manufacturers major improvements in welding quality and provide a more robust, productive and cost-effective solution compared with conventional processes.

Operating from within its 6,000 Sq. ft. facilities in Yoqne'am, Israel, and its extensively equipped application laboratory in the Detroit, Michigan, area, Plasma-Laser Technologies is servicing an ever growing customer base, which includes multinational corporations in Europe, USA and Japan.

The main markets to immediately benefit from PLT’s innovative products’ lines include industries where improved automated welding within manufacturing lines (e.g. using robots and CNC based machinery) has become a pre-requisite for its economic success. These include automotives, structural components, electrical products, packaging, transportation, metal & aluminum piping for all sorts of industries, and Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers who serve these industries.

Both the Super-MIG® as well as the Weldone™ Hybrid systems offer the user tremendous advantages, resulting in:
More than x2 increase of welding speed and productivity.
More than x2 increase of welding penetration depth at same quality.
Enables penetration welding of overlap joints with no access holes.
Almost no grooving or edge-preparation is required.
Dramatically reduced distortion of work-piece: no need of post-weld treatment or
   surface-cleaning.
Dramatically reduced weld-spatter and use of filler wire.
Increased potential of use in new & problematic applications.

The final result is a very significant reduction in the welding cost per piece and per Inch/Cm.
